Andy gave me the opportunity to shoot an event next Friday and I realized I didn’t have any business cards made up, nor did I have anything with my new colors and fonts in them from the site redesign. In about 10 minutes I through together two quick drafts in Photoshop and Scott polished them for me. The end result is below and I am very pleased. More than likely, the top right corner will be chopped off at a 45 degree angle on both cards but that is not yet set in stone. The goal was a simple, clean design that isn’t hidden by over-done graphics and cleary states who I am, what I do and how to get in contact with me.
First design is a somewhat standard white card; the black border was only added so it didn’t blend into the background here in the blog posting.

Second design is a play off the colors in the logo here; I was a bit leery laying out the colors but overall I am happy with the end result.

You may notice the lack of email address on both cards, this was done on purpose. The goal is to have people call me directly so I can speak with them or to visit the site and use the contact form to send me a message. Either way, I’d like visitors and customers of mine to have a personable experience, something I feel email doesn’t offer.

they look great. i do like the first one the best.
