Lehigh Valley Walk Now for Autism April 12, 2008
Saturday April 12th I will be joining friend, co-worker and fellow photographer Jeff Hall in photographing the Lehigh Valley Walk Now for Autism’s 2008 fun walk at the Lehigh Parkway in Allentown, PA. I was first made aware of both what Autism was and asked to donate my time and talent for this event when Jeff started to work with me a few years ago. Autism doesn’t just affect those who have it, their family, friends and everyone around them enjoy the highs of good days and the lows of bad days.
Jeff, a few other photographers and myself will be shooting the estimated 8-10,000 people who will attend the walk, doing both casual and candid shots throughout the day. The photos will be online and available for print purchases with 100% of the proceeds going to the Walk Now for Autism charity. This will be my first year shooting this particular event, however I have shot the last two years of a breast cancer run at the same location and I always leave with great memories, hearing great stories from amazing people and overall just feeling good. I don’t expect anything less from this event and belive I will leave this one with the same warm, fuzzy feeling inside.
If you are an eastern Pennsylvanian or western New Jersey photographer who is interested in donating your time and talent to help us cover this event, please contact Jeff.
