Jaclyn & Ryan | Sneak Peak

Jaclyn & Ryan | Sneak Peak

Going back more than a dozen years, on the first day of my 10th grade year I met Ryan, we quickly became friends and have remained so since then.  His girlfriend Jaclyn of about four years and him got engaged and I was asked (read that as told) I was to shoot their small, intimate wedding this summer.  The day couldn’t have been any worse, with everything seeming to be delayed, then rain.  No one likes rain, but it should never rain on a wedding day, especially one scheduled for outside.  After doing a dance, saying some words and crossing our fingers, the rain let up for a very brief moment of time, just long enough to set the runner, put up some flowers and have the ceremony.  Almost immediate after they were announced as Mr. and Mrs. Ryan Scott Helfrich, the rain came again.  The day was full of excitement and love though and I hope some of these first few photos convey that.

For the something blue, Jaclyn had custom shoes made that said I DO behind her 4″ heals.

Love both of you, so glad to see this day come, even with all the bumps along the way, it will be one to remember always.

  1. I really like the wedding photograph of them with the minister at the wall with the long isle runner.
