iStockphoto Suggestinator
I’ve been selling stuff on iStockphoto.com since 2002 and people often ask how to be successful at it. I’ve written several articles on how to do this, but key words is still what an end user uses to find your images. Searching is an art form by itself, but how do you know what a potential client will use to search?
Once you’ve exhausted yourself trying to keyword an image the best you can and it’s online and approved, then what? Try iStock-Apps Suggestinator. Login using your iStock user-name and password, enter the image number for a few photos you are having trouble key wording and watch as others will make suggestions for you over the next few days. This service is free, but they do ask that you help others who upload files, which I don’t think is too much to ask. If you find yourself using this often, they have a donate button, give them some cheddar.

Please! Keep Door Closed
Shot on a very tight grained, slow speed black and white film, this was done around 2002 in an old warehouse in Philadelphia. If only I knew what was on the other side.
