The Lindfield Industrial Park is starting to feel like my second home / personal photography studio. Much in the same way my shoot with Christy a week earlier started, Lady Lazarus and I met in Birdsboro, a place she was very familiar with and had been in the industrial plant that I couldn’t find my way into. Upon getting there though, she immediately noticed a big difference, the path she used to use was no longer there. We walked around a bit more and couldn’t see an obvious way in, then spotted some workers there actually doing demo work. That spot is officially off my I want to shoot there list. Faced in the same situation as the week prior and not wanting to waste a day since she drove an hour from Philadelphia and I drove an hour south, we hit Linfield.Read more..
Over the last few years I’ve shot Christy several times, in studio and on location. Always a good time and ready for almost anything, working with her always leads to great images. When she called me up a few weeks ago to see if I wanted to shoot, preferably on location, I was instantly sold. Coming off the crazy location shoot I did with Summer, I was hell bent on scouring the web for another inspiring place to shoot.Read more..
My second shoot now with Summer, who always brings a ton of energy, great attitude and is a pure joy to work with. This time around we shot at the previously scouted Linfield Industrial Park on what could only be described as a perfect summer day in the high 70′s, a slight breeze and picture perfect sky. The change in her hair color and added curls from our last shoot, combined with the vibrant colors and industrial background made this match absolutely work, and we ended in some wonderful fields towards sunset. During post production I was torn between color and black and white photos, in this case both hold their weight equally well so I’ve decided to make this post all color and will follow up with a black and white set.Read more..
Jordan came up last month for a shoot, without much idea of what we wanted to do we chatted for a good while before starting to shoot. I really enjoy working with people who are new to posing, and models like Jordan are the reason why. She’s fun, giggles a lot, didn’t mind twirling around in circles until nearly falling over only to get back up and try it again. Hopefully I’ll get a chance to work with here again soon.Read more..
