Two and a half years ago I met Christine, we’ve remained friends since then sharing many of the same interests. One thing anyone who knows her is that everything is does is over the top. If she’s in a colorful mood, it’s a lot of color. If she’s happy, everyone will see her smiling and laughing, if she’s determined to get something, do something or go somewhere, best of luck to anything that blocks her way.
We’ve spoken about shooting since meeting but it never really happened. Both our schedules synced earlier this month and we did some studio work. Because all I had in the studio was a grey backdrop, I knew I’d be having some fun in post processing, Christine is not a grey backdrop kind of woman. With her approval and my color-blind eyes, I went to town bring all kinds of funky colors into the photos, the end result of which I’m very proud of our collaboration. Hopefully soon we can do a location shoot.

Back in December I was approached by Andy of Homebase to do a collaboration shoot with his shop and the local group DeXperience. After a quick meeting with him and Qbah we set a date and spent a few hours in the shop shooting shortly after. The shoot showcases some of the brands that Homebase carries and the whole DeXperience crew were great to work with.

Nikki came up for an overdue visit on a day I happened to be working in the studio. So after being my slave PA for the better part of the day she finally got some time in front of the camera. Really enjoyed this shoot.
Runway model Jay contacted a few months ago about expanding his portfolio to further gain him print work. Since I rarely have an opportunity to shoot men’s fashion I hopped at the opportunity, which turned out to be a great afternoon in the studio.

This was a second campaign that, as far as I know, never got to see the day of light from Intarsia. The concept was hard lines and shapes to go with the soft fabrics, I think it worked out really well.
