Just shy of one year has past since the last time I shot with Amanda, James & Kylie and while I had originally wanted to do an end of summer shoot, Amanda was dead set on fall again. Then it rained, and rained, and rained some more. After five unsuccessful attempts to meet and shoot, we were finally given a rain free weekend to get this done.
Some things are the same in this set compared with last year; Kylie’s hat for example. Amanda has informed me that she loved it so much she bought one in a larger size when Kylie outgrew it. Some things are new, like Amanda’s bump, she’s expecting next month! Amanda reassured me that she has already bought a hat for her yet to be born daughter. I have a feeling we will see these hats every year, possibly in a prom photo if Amanda has her way!

Let’s be real for a minute. When a woman is pregnant, all the focus is on them, all the time. James has put a lot of time, effort and money into his baby bump trying to keep up with Amanda, let us all just appreciate that for a minute.

Apparently Kylie loves the rain, and her umbrella and rain slicker. This poor little girl wanted it to rain so badly!

I won’t bother posting the photos of the mayhem that ensued trying to take the rain slicker off Kylie, I think the photo below sums up how she felt about having to give it up pretty well.

The time elapsed between the photo above and below was less then four minutes. I was informed that Kylie rarely takes naps, but after this two hour romp at the park it was lights out as soon as she got home!
